The Oxidation Induction Tester / Differential Thermal Analyzer is a precision thermal analysis instrument designed to evaluate the oxidative stability and thermal behavior of polymers, oils, and other materials. It measures the Oxidation Induction Time (OIT) — the duration a material resists oxidation under controlled thermal and atmospheric conditions — using either Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) or Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) methods.

This tool is essential in quality control, material development, and process optimization, especially for industries dealing with polyethylene, polypropylene, lubricants, and packaging films
